This is a surprisingly large and we'll staffed center devoted to the people and lands of Northwestern Alaska. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and will go out of their way to get you up to speed on the opportunities that are waiting for you outside their doors. It includes an excellent museum and multiple programs are offered to locals and visitors alike. We stopped by on an off day and the Center happened to be open. We (my daughter and I) enjoyed touring through the open parts of the Center and will certainly go back!
