When you first get here from thw lower 48 everything seems so incredibly highly priced, but you quickly start getting used to the prices. A good tip is to visit weekly and wait for "specials" on certain items. Overall a good place to get food you can't get from Amazon Prime. It was my first time to Alaska. From Atlanta to Kotzebou. Flight was well scheduled layover was two hours each in Seattle and Anchorage. Was very smooth flight and good crew with good services. Thanks to Alaska airline workers. One of two stores in town and generally good prices for Kotz. Fresh veggies are hard to get in the Arctic so small selection. Nice people. Really expensive (more so than Kauai). Not bad if it's your last/only option, but waaaay cheaper to bring food in check baggage. The Prices is high. But it's got like everything, its like Wall Mart around here.
